The funeral service for Edna Mae White was at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2010 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. The Reverend Earl Skaggs officiated. Pallbearers were Don Robbins, Bill Robbins, Donnie Robbins, Wes Robbins, Kyle Robbins, Adam Pate and Malachi Pate. Interment was in National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Edna Mae (Olden) Robbins White was born October 3, 1915 in Blackwell, Kay County, Oklahoma, one of seven daughters born to Everett Samuel and Vada Mae (Williams) Olden. She was raised in Stone Bluff, Oklahoma. In 1933 Edna married Lee Virgil Robbins. They had five children together, four boys and one girl. Edna loved gardening and liked canning. One of her proudest moments was her graduation from Cosmetology School at the top of class when she was fifty years old. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Wagoner for a number of years. Edna departed this life on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Yuma, AZ, where she had made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Yvonne, for the past four months. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Robbins in 1960; three sisters, Buela Parker, Eula Foutch and Maxine Brown and an infant sister; and two sons, Lee Buck Robbins, Jr. in 1934 and Bobby Ray Robbins in 1982. She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald Lee and Martha Robbins of Claremore and Bill and Yvonne Robbins of Yuma, Arizona; a daughter, Virginia Lee Lane of Virginia; eighteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Jo Ramsey of Yukon, OK and Margaret Huffman of Fay, OK; other relatives and friends.
