Eliza Mae Keys, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born May 26, 1940 to Essie Mae Campbell and Hosie Miles.

Eliza received Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. She attended public schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She remained a lifelong Wagoner resident and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She enjoyed helping others as demonstrated in her decades of public service to others.

Eliza answered a calling to work in health care early in her life with her first position in a nursing home. She soon found a position at Wagoner Community as a Nursing Assistant, retiring on October 9, 2009 after over 36 years of faithful service. Her hospital "family" recall her as an "awesome lady."

Her giving and caring nature continued to be expressed through her work as a committed member of several organizations and task forces, including missions that focused on healthcare and achievement of communities.

Eliza's hobbies included spending time with family and friends, literature and agricultural marketing.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Malcom (Lynn) Keys and Wallace Keys; one daughter, Sherry Givens; children's father, Wallace Keys Sr.; one brother, Charles Miles; seven grandchildren and a host of loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Essie Mae Campbell, father, Hosie Miles and a daughter, Patricia Releford.

Friends and family will call for viewing from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday, April 13, 2020 at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.

A private family service will be held, and Mrs. Keys will be laid to rest beside her father in Sandtown Cemetery in Wagoner County, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Pastor Roger Stephenson.
