Eric Dale Sullivan was born December 8, 1985 in Oklahoma City, OK. He grew up in Wagoner, OK where he was active in the band, attended Boys State and earned a high scholastic ranking at graduation from Wagoner High School in 2004. He then attended Northeastern State University and later earned a Bachelor in Psychology degree at Tulsa University. Eric worked at the Brookhaven Psychiatric Hospital in Tulsa as a mental health technician.

While growing up with his grandparents, Eunice and Vernon Sullivan, Eric developed a love for fishing. He received his lifetime fishing license on his sixteenth birthday. From an early age Eric was a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed watching all sports, but Green Bay remained his team. Eric liked to spend time playing video games and Dungeons and Dragons. He loved instrumental music, in particular classical music.

Eric married the former Mechelle Leigh McDowell on September 25, 2014. They enjoyed an especially close relationship, sharing many interests and simply enjoying their life together. Eric loved his family and was looking forward to being an uncle soon.

Eric passed this life early Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK at the age of 35 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Eunice Sullivan and his maternal great-grandmother, Girtha Gaither.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mechelle Sullivan of the home; a brother, Cody Brumfield and Kathryn Purcell of Wagoner, OK; his aunts and uncles, Brenda and Brian Kinkade, Phillip and Ann Sullivan and David Sullivan, all of Wagoner, OK; numerous cousins; very good friends the Bewleys of Oologah, OK and other friends and relatives.

A memorial service to celebrate Eric's life will be held at 2 pm Friday, May 14, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Wagoner, OK. The Reverend Steve Harshaw will officiate.

Interment will be beside Vernon and Eunice Sullivan in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.
