Eva Mae (Yochum) Roach, formerly of Wagoner, OK, departed this life Tuesday, October 19, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was currently making her home in Scurry, TX.

Eva was born September 4, 1941 in Porter, OK, one of ten children born to William "Bud" and Eva Marie (Duvall) Yochum. She spent her early years in Wagoner and graduated from Wagoner High School. Eva married Gerald Wayne Roach in Pryor, OK on November 23, 1970.

Eva loved spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, camping and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Eva (Duvall) Yochum; grandparents, James Edgar and Jane Duvall; five brothers, James, Ray, Willie, Amax and Robert Lynn Yochum; three sisters, Maurine Hallum Ammons, Barbara Ann Goforth and Pauline Gilbert; and an infant brother and sister; two nephews, Johnny and James Hallum and one great-niece, Bobby Jo.

Eva's family who survive her will deeply, deeply miss her. They include her husband of fifty years, Gerald Roach of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Tony Scroggins of Wagoner, OK and Kimberlee and Michael Brown of Scurry, TX; one brother, Paul Yochum and his wife, Geraldine of Tahlequah; three grandchildren, Michelle and Collin Garner of Wagoner, DeAnna and Dustin Ray of Tulsa, OK and Dale "Bubba Dean Scroggins" Sutton III of Phoenix, AZ; eight great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Luke, Anthony, Autumn, Payton, Katie, Journey and Brea; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family.

Viewing will be on Thursday, October 28 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Mallet Funeral Home. The family and friends will gather for a Visitation Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK. The Reverend Lisa Sowers will officiate.

Eva will be laid to rest near her family in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK. Pallbearers will be DeWayne Yochum, Dennis Yochum, Leslie Yochum, Phillip Jordan, Collin Garner and Michael Eli. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale "Bubba" Dean Scroggins, Tony Scroggins, Michael Brown and Dustin Ray.
