Obituary

Funeral services for Fae Marie Watts, 72 of Wagoner will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with the Reverend Carl Murphy officiating. Fae was born July 6, 1938 in Okeene, Oklahoma to her parents, Elmer and Elizabeth Winter. She grew up and graduated high school in Okeene before moving to Enid, Oklahoma. She continued her education in Enid and it was there that she was united in marriage to Wendell Watts and began their family. In 1962 they moved to Tulsa where started her career with Quik-Trip Corporation, working for more than 33 years. After retirement, they moved to the Lake Ft. Gibson area near Wagoner where Fae loved to spend her time gardening. She passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Broken Arrow Nursing Home. Fae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wendell and by her son, Butch. She is survived by her children, Robert Watts and his wife, Janet of Coweta, Bruce Watts and his wife, Cindy and Cheryl Sherri' Burris and her husband, Steve all of Broken Arrow; two sisters, Arlene Pope and Vernon and Karen Barton and Bud all of Edmond, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Kerry Pope, Chris Hall, Lee, Graig and Andrew Watts and Bryan Burris. Funeral arrangements and interment in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
