Florence Jean (Patterson) Morrison Martin was born October 31, 1934 in Cherokee County, Oklahoma to Ronald R. and Odie Jean (Byfield) Patterson. She grew up in the South Ray community. Florence was married to Howard Lee Morrison on December 31, 1955. They were blessed with four children, Mike, David, Sharon, and Janett. Flo's family was the center of her life, and she loved watching her family grow through the years. She was well known for her cooking skills and loved to share her talents with her family and friends, including her church family at First Baptist Church. Flo was active in the church fellowship and was an important part of the preparation of church dinners for many years. Before retirement Flo was an assistant manager at the Wagoner Wal Mart store.

On Sunday, February 14, 2016, Florence passed this life at her Wagoner home, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Morrison, in 1991. She later married James C. Martin, who preceded her in 2008. Others preceding her in death include her parents, Pat and Odie Patterson, and two brothers, Ronald "June" Patterson and Gerald Patterson.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Mike and Pat Morrison of Republic, Missouri, David and Rosemary Morrison of Wagoner, Ok, Sharon and Tommy Biffle of Wagoner, and Janett and James Halfacre of Wagoner; four brothers and their spouses, Rolland and Rama Patterson of Tulsa, Bob and Tweets Patterson of Hulbert, OK, Robert and Diane Patterson of Inola, OK and Bill and Rebecca Patterson of Wagoner, OK; seven grandchildren and their spouses; ten great-grandchildren; a stepson, Jimmy Martin, his wife, Sherri, and their family; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, including a very special caregiver, Winnie Reese; and Flo's many friends.

The family and friends will gather at a Visitation from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK.

The Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Wagoner, with the Reverend Mark Pointer and the Reverend Terry Presley officiating.

Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert, OK. Pallbearers will be Jason Biffle, Nathan Morrison, Jeff Halfacre, Chris Halfacre, Benny Nail and Will Patterson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Flo's brothers, Bob Patterson, Rolland Patterson, Bill Patterson and Robert Patterson.
