The funeral service for Yvonne Myers will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK. Officiating will be the Reverend Terry Presley. Interment will be in Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Daniel Collins, Stephen Bradshaw, Melinda Hicks, Kenneth Hicks, Jr., Matt Garner and Lee Rankins.

The family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday evening. Viewing begins at 10:00 am Monday.

Florence Yvonne Myers was born January 17, 1974 in Tulsa, OK to Dorothy Sue (Smith) and Daniel Robert VanHorn. Following graduation from Wagoner High School Yvonne attended college and prepared for a career in the home health industry as a nurse aide. She was currently employed at Health Care Innovations of Pryor, OK.

Yvonne departed this life Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home in Locust Grove, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Dewayne Myers, and a son, Devin Dewayne Myers.

Survivors include a son, Johnathon Dewayne Myers of Locust Grove, OK; her parents, Daniel and Dorothy Sue VanHorn of Locust Grove, OK; three step-daughters, Misty Myers, Mellissa Baker and Kara Harris; several grandchildren; a brother, Billy VanHorn, and his wife, Kristen, of Locust Grove, OK; a sister, Danyell Collins, and her husband, Clarence, of Wagoner, OK; several nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
