FLOYD ALFRED NOETZOL JR. Funeral services for Floyd A. Noetzol, Jr., 64 of Wagoner were held Friday, July 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel, Wagoner with the Reverend Lisa Sowers and the Reverend Nathan Little officiating. Floyd was born January 31, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, Floyd Sr. and Helen (Howell) Noetzol. At an early age, his family moved to Muskogee, OK where Floyd grew up and graduated from high school. In 1981, he moved to Wagoner and began his long career as a hard working and dedicated employee for city of Wagoner. Floyd enjoyed attending the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church and was a big fan of NASCAR. He is remembered by family and friends as a loving and devoted husband. Floyd passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Manuel Dunlap and by his two sisters Nancy Standifird and Robin Hammock. He is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home; his children, Chris Noetzol of Pekin, Illinois, Ginger Robison and her husband, Randall of Oklahoma City, Ricky Noetzol and his wife, Rachel of Van Buren, Arkansas and Nicholas Noetzol of Wagoner, Mike Jones and his wife, Telena and Eric Jones and his wife, Fran, all of Wagoner; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Taylor and her husband, James, of Muskogee; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers were Larry Neeley, Johnny Wiley, Dennis Dorr, Thomas Applegate, Larry Morgan, Terry Dicky, Terry Hornbuckle and Donnie Johnson. Funeral arrangements and interment in Elmwood Cemetery were directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
