Frances Mae Enox, 71, of Porter, OK, departed this life on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Tulsa, OK. Her funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Porter First Baptist Church with the Reverend Dale Clayton officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Crain, Joe Stallings, Jarrett Stallings, Greg Knight, Darryl Jay and Jeff Enox. Great grandsons will be honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter. Frances was born May 17, 1938 in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma, one of six children of Willie and Annie (Chisolm) Ford. She grew up in Okemah, but her family traveled to work the harvest. When they came to California they decided to stay and settled in Bakersfield, CA. She and Lonnie moved to Porter in 1985. Frances is survived by her husband, Lonnie Daniel Enox of the home; her children and spouses, Diane and Sammie Buford of Bakersfield, Ronnie Lancaster and his wife, of Bakersfield, Lonnie Steven and Pam Lancaster of Okemah, OK, Jody Davis of Tulsa, Joe and Janice Stallings of Porter; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Ruth Ford of Okemah; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wilburn, George and Dude Ford and a sister, Parlee Henley.
