Obituary

Frankie June (Porter) Clark was born May 14, 1929 in Tabler, OK to Franklin and Melissa Rose (Walters) Porter. She made her home in Wagoner most of her life. Frankie and her husband, Forest Clark, owned the Clark's Jewelry Store for sixteen years before settling into ranching and farming. Frankie was a long time member of the First Baptist Church where she was a dedicated contributor to the funeral dinners through the years. In earlier days Frankie was active as a 4-H leader and enjoyed bowling with her bowling team. She was at one time active in the Wagoner Lioness Club, while Forest was a member of the Lions Club.

Frankie Clark departed this life Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Clark, in 2004; by her parents, Frank and Melissa Porter; and all of her siblings.

She is survived by two sons, Denis Clark and wife, Marilyn, of Sand Springs, OK and Gregory Clark of Wagoner; one daughter, Gayle Clark and husband, Mark, of Gallatin, TN; four grandchildren, Ryan Clark and wife, Jamie, of Sand Springs, OK, Jessica Lane and husband, Greg, of Sand Springs, OK, Kaileigh Bullard of Nashville, TN and Kolton Bullard of Gallatin, TN; three great-grandchildren, Makenzie Clark, Makayla Clark, and Clark Lane; other family and many friends.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner, OK.

A Funeral to celebrate the life of Frankie will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Wagoner. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark Pointer and the Rev. Gary Woodson.

Interment will be at 2:00 PM at National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Pallbearers will be Kolton Bullard, Mark Bullard, Ryan Clark, Clark Lane, Greg Lane, Richard Longmire and Dennis Throgmorton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Fields, Tom Goins, Loyd Hicks, Bob Hill, Ray Metzger, Bill Teel and John Wayne Teel.
