Gary Dale Doty was born November 24, 1955 in Sapulpa, OK and died Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his home in Wagoner, OK at the age of 65 years. He and his wife, Pam, moved to Wagoner from Beggs, OK.

Gary worked in construction before his health forced him to stay at home.

Gary was passionate about his Harley. He dearly loved riding it, and when he became unable to ride it, he always had it positioned where he could look at it.

He will be greatly missed by his family, who include his wife of forty years, Pam Doty of the home; children, Mary Taylor, Robert Taylor, Jessica Clinton, Angel Doty and Sonny Doty; grandchildren, Cadence, Kelsey, Axel, Christopher, Aiden, Issac, Christina, Amia, Tierra, Lola, and Ava; Michael Burns and Daniel Lee, who were like sons to him; extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Scott Taylor and his parents.

A viewing will be held Friday, July 2 from 1-5 pm at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner.

Going Home

God saw that he was getting tired,

And a cure was not to be.

He put his arms around him and

Whispered, "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer

And saw him fade away.

Although we loved him dearly,

We could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

His busy hands at rest.

God broke our heart to prove to us,

He only takes the best.
