Obituary

Gary Lynn Stevens was born on August 3, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Billy Ray Stevens and Carol Jean (Tarrant) Stevens.  He married the love of his life, Susan Elaine Pofahl on June 1, 1991.

Gary strived to be a positive role model for all.  He was a devoted Christian man and proudly served God.  He spread the word of God as a missionary in Africa for a couple of months.  He had many salient roles and honorably served as a Deacon, Sunday school teacher, and treasurer at Okay First Baptist Church.  He was a prominent part of the vacation bible study as well.  Gary even filled in for the music director when needed.  He was a volunteer of the Oklahoma Baptist disaster relief team and assisted with aiding the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

Gary enjoyed bowling, reading Christian fiction books, and was an avid Wagoner Bulldog football fan.  Traveling was also something he was fond of in his spare time.  His family was of prime importance to him.
