George Russell Megee was born January 12, 1960, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Donald Edward and Reva Jo (Shears) Megee.  After graduating High School, he went to work as a Pattern Designer at the American Foundries in Muskogee.  He also operated the sound and lights for the Muskogee Little Theater.

George loved playing football in High School. Later in life, he enjoyed cooking, shooting, fishing, golfing, and Scuba diving. He even did some square dancing.

George departed this life Friday night in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Reva Megee, and Sister, Debbie Saylor.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Dean Niceley, of Wagoner; Niece, Kristin Saylor; Nephews, Adam Niceley, Kevin Niceley, Christopher (Elle) Niceley; great niece, Rose Niceley; and great nephew, Ryker Nicely.

A memorial service will be on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 1:30 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery Chapel, in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  Inurnment will follow the service.
