Life of Gerald Wayne Roach

Gerald was born on June 24, 1936, to Webb Roach and Ester Gullet one of three children.

Gerald is proceeded in death by the love of his life of 51 years to Eva Mae (Yochum) Roach. His parents Webb Roach and Ester Roach Gullet and stepfather, Clifford Gullet, two sisters, Eunice Myers and brother-in-law, A.E. “Cotton” Myers and Onice Miller and brother-in-law Frank Miller; one son-in-law Michael Brown.

Gerald passed away on August 3, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Gerald started working the Pepsi Cola route with his dad at the age of 18. After his dad retired he continued working for another 35 years until he retired. He met the love of his life, Eva Mae Yochum, while working the route. They married on November 24, 1970. They had two daughters, Glenda and husband Tony Scroggins and Kimberlee Brown and husband Michael Brown (deceased) all of Wagoner; three grandchildren Michelle Woolard and fiancé James Smith, Dale “Bubba Scroggins” Sutton and companion Brandy Schoonover; and DeAnna and husband Dustin Ray; six great grandchildren Luke, Anthony, Autumn, Payton Ray, Wyatt Jameson Gerald Woolard, Araiah Sunshine, Journey Gayla Sutton all from Wagoner and other nieces and nephews.

Gerald loved hunting with his brothers-in-law. One night while hunting one of them accidentally shot two of them in the back side. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with all the family. He loved spending time with family and friends.

The family would like it known that they will miss him dearly. They know he is with the Lord and family watching over all of them and with that they will find comfort and joy.

A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Gerald Roach will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home. Reverend Lisa Sowers will officiate.

Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, where Gerald will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife. Those serving as pallbearers include Dustin Ray, Ray Scroggins, James Smith, DeWayne Yochum, Leslie Yochum, and Dennis Yochum. Those serving as honorary pallbearers include Tony Scroggins and Dale Sutton.
