RIP Big G

You were one of the best men I have known. We will miss you.

He was the kindest, most gentle and graceful man I have known. Never missed an opportunity to return a smile. He was a man of integrity, loyalty and love. He loved his family with all of his heart. He believed in hard work and determination and it showed. He was a proud yet humble man. He set one of best examples of what a man should be.

His love for his wife was like anything I've ever witnessed. It was not only something you could see, it was also something you could feel when in their presence. Fifty-two years of true love on every level. Where you saw Granvel, you saw Hattie. They set the greatest example on how a marriage should be. I know the love they shared will last a lifetime and beyond.

He was everything a father should be. The bond he shared with Lil Granvel was so special. He was the best Dad, Grandpa and PaPa. He loved Lil Granvel, Rhonda, Jazmin, Trey and Naya with every fiber of his being. His family was his everything.
