Gregory Neal Breshears, who was called Greg by family and friends, departed this life suddenly on Sunday, August 27, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Betty Lou (Flowers) Reynolds and Harry Reynolds; his father, C.J. Breshears and a brother, Mike Breshears. The family is comforted by their faith that Greg is now reunited with these family members, especially his Mama, who Greg dearly loved.

Greg was born on March 5, 1957. He graduated from high school in Stillwater, OK and then attended college. He was currently employed as an apartment maintenance supervisor.

Greg's family will always have precious memories of his prankster and witty personality. His wife, Tonia, will hold dear the memory of his favorite dress up outfit, a colorful shirt, Wranglers and boots. She recalled how he loved yard sales and secondhand stores, and of course, he was a dye in the wool Oklahoma State University fan. He loved watching them play football.

Greg loved to fish and played tournaments with his father, Harry, and his 20-years-younger brother, Steve, to whom Greg was both father and brother. A fond memory they shared was of Steve riding an inner tube behind their boat while they were fishing. Steve decided to play a joke on Greg and Harry, so he hung onto a limb so they couldn't go forward. They all had a good laugh when all came to light.

Survivors include his wife, Tonia of the home; a son, Gregory Neal Breshears Jr.; his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Taj Reynolds; sister and son-in-law, Darla and Tom Oglesby; two grandchildren, many nieces and nephew and grand nieces and grandnephews and lots of friends.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life, time, place and date to be announced.
