Heather Renee (Thomas) Garrison was born December 27, 1971 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Earl Wayne and Donna (Taylor) Thomas. She made her home in Wagoner, Oklahoma with her husband, James Dewayne Garrison, whom she married on September 5, 1995. Heather was employed at Kum and Go for many years as a store clerk.

Heather lived life fully. She loved her collectables. She enjoyed cruises and other vacations, and she loved to be outdoors, especially while fishing. She liked to go to the casinos and to play with her grand-puppies and care for her neighbor kids.

Heather departed this life on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at 46 years of age. She was preceded in death by four grandparents, Raymond and Opal Thomas and Howard and Lola Taylor; her mother-in-law, Cathie Garrison and numerous aunts and uncles.

Her loving family left to cherish her memory include her husband, James Garrison of the home; two sons, Aaron Thomas and his girlfriend, Ashley, of Midwest City, Oklahoma and J.J. Garrison and wife, Kristina, of Verdigris, Oklahoma; one daughter, Falicia Garrison and her fiancé, Eric Schnee, and his three children, Ty, Garrett and Dusty Schnee of Canadian, Oklahoma; her parents, Donna and Earl Thomas of Wagoner, Oklahoma; a sister, T. Lynn Thomas of Wagoner, Oklahoma; a brother, Jeffrey Thomas and wife, Amy, of Wagoner, Oklahoma; niece, Addison, nephews, Sedric and Cole; numerous other family and many friends.

Viewing hours are Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

The Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, February 12, 2018 at the First Assembly of God in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Officiating will be the Reverend Lisa Sowers.

Interment will be in Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Scotty Smith, T.J. Garrison, Garrett Thomas, James Manley, Steve McDaris and Tyler Boston.  Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Thomas, Dale Morris Jr., Greg Thomas, Brian Thomas, Jimmie Smith, Jamie Smith, Dusty Neugin, Kevin Thomas, Justin Thomas, Willie Weeden, Davey Wylie and Tim Redford.
