Henry William Wiley, known to most as Bosko, lived his life in a way that did not demand attention, but quietly earned it. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the age of 67, his journey came to a peaceful close at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Born on May 20, 1958, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, to John Tab Wiley and Bobbie Lee (Hathcoat) Wiley, Bosko was raised with the kind of grit and work ethic that shaped his entire life. He made his home in Choska Bottoms in Porter, Oklahoma, a place that reflected his love for simplicity, hard work, and staying close to what mattered most.
Bosko spent years working for Larry Hall milking cows, a job that required early mornings, steady hands, and dedication. He later worked in Tulsa at P and M Industry and Ventaire, where he continued to provide through honest work until his health led him into retirement. He was the kind of man who showed up, did what needed to be done, and never asked for recognition.
He carried the weight of loss in his life, having been preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Bridges Jackson; his parents, John and Bobbie Wiley; his brothers, John W. Wiley and David Wiley; and his sisters, Janice Cody, Debbie Robinson, and Dorthy Garcia. Yet through it all, he remained steady, enduring, and quietly strong.
Those who knew Bosko will remember a man who valued family, who found his place in the everyday moments that make up a life well lived. He leaves behind his son, Colten Wiley and wife Ellen of Columbia, Missouri; his step-children, Donald Bridges and wife Valerie of Gilbert, Arizona, Sidney Lanier Bridges III and wife Christine of Santa Ana, California, Fredrick Douglas and wife Maria of Winchester, California, and Tiffany Bridges and husband Steven of Coweta, Oklahoma; his siblings, Becky Dillingham and husband Roy of Porter, Oklahoma, Jerilynn Stevens and husband Mike of Palm Bay, Florida, David Ross and wife Angie of Meeker, Oklahoma, and Sam Wiley of Wagoner, Oklahoma; as well as his special friends, Angie and Bruce French of Haskell, Oklahoma. He is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren who carry forward pieces of his story.
Bosko’s life was not defined by grand gestures, but by consistency, loyalty, and the quiet strength of simply being there. He was surrounded by love, a love that does not fade with distance or time.
His story lives on in those who knew him, in the lessons of hard work and resilience he leaves
