Obituary

Homer Allen Seaman was born February 8, 1945 in Richmond, California to Glen Allen and Fannie Mae (Hickman) Seaman. He graduated from high school in Alpaugh, California and later earned a degree at the Climate Control Institute of Tulsa. He worked in sheet metal fabrication for a time and later worked in maintenance administration for Sooner Management Consultants Inc. and Interstate Inn.

In his spare time Homer Allen loved camping, and fishing. He played the lead guitar for many years and loved music. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy and enjoyed studying the Bible.

Mr. Seaman departed this life Wednesday evening, October 17, 2018 at his home in Wagoner at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 9 days. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Phyllis (Lawhorn) Seaman.

His loving family will always cherish the memory of his always pulling jokes on family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Wanda June (Cole) Seaman of the home; two children and their spouses, Debra Satterwhite and Ken Olson of Petersburg, Alaska and Allen Ray and Darla Seaman of Grand Lake, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five brothers and their wives, Jerry and Lana Seaman of Crescent City, California, Larry and Lori Seaman of Newberg, Oregon, Rick and Carol Seaman of Hanford, California, Roy and Cheryl Seaman of Lewiston, Idaho and David and Libby Seaman of Queen City, Texas; several nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.

Viewing will be from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Friday, with Visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, both at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, Oklahoma.

The Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Church of God of Prophecy, 1501 Northeast 2 nd Street, Wagoner. Officiating will be the Reverend Danny Waite.

Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bennett Addition. Pallbearers will be Allen Seaman, Glen Seaman, John Seaman, Scott Seaman, Danny Shaw and Adam McDaniel. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Seaman and Jerry Seaman.
