Imogene Marie "Jean" Robins was born July 25, 1926 in Brewer, Muskogee County, Oklahoma to W.D. "Wadie" Daniels and Janie (McGuire) Daniels Carrell. After high school graduation Jean furthered her education by training to be an LPN, but decided to devote her time to her family and the family business. She married Roy Lee "Red" Robins on January 31, 1944. Together they owned and operated the Red Robins Tire in Muskogee, OK. Jean's main position there was as bookkeeper for the business.

Jean lived most of her life in Muskogee, but enjoyed vacationing with her family. Every year they would travel to California to visit Red's brother and his family. The family share many happy memories of family life, and remember what a great cook Jean was, especially her chocolate pies. Jean and her husband enjoyed fishing often as well. Jean began crocheting at age 65 and made beautiful afghans.
