IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jake Reid
Allison
June 22, 2013 – June 28, 2018
Jake was born June 22, 2013 in Honolulu, Hawaii to his parents, Cody Warren Allison and Kristina Gale (Young) Allison. He departed this life Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Scott and White Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas. Although Jake's life was short, he touched the lives of everyone he met. Anyone who encountered him fell in love with him, and his life will always impact his family and friends who remain.
Jake's smiles and laughter were a sight that brightened one's soul. His face lit up with joy when he was held in his dad's arms to jump on the trampoline, or when he could participate in any motion activities. Jake loved to be outside, especially by the water; every beach visit would guarantee Jake would be lulled by the sounds of the waves into a nap. Jake liked to hear loved ones' voices, especially his Nana on the phone.
Survivors include: his parents, Cody and Kristi (Young) Allison of Fort Hood, Texas; his siblings, Braden, Gavin, Aubree and younger brother, Finn, who called him "Bubba" and held hands with Jake everywhere they went; his grandparents, James and Sheila Pilant of Salina, Oklahoma, Daniel and Karan Young of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Gary and Dana Allison of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Angela Dudley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; great-grandparents, Louise Young of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Nina Springston of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a great multitude of family, including his aunts, uncles and cousins, great aunts and great uncles; as well as many other lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents: James and Maydrene Smith, George Young, Frank and Joyce Allison, Bill and Sue Dudley and Glen Springston.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in loving memory of Jake Allison to CP studies and foundations or neurological studies.
