James Charles Anglin was born April 2, 1951 in Vancouver, Washington to Robert Charles and Eleanor Irene (Adams) Anglin. James attended college after high school graduation. He served in Viet Nam as a member of the United States Army.
He was employed at a paper mill for twenty-five years. Later on James was employed as a storage manager at the Port of Catoosa. He had made his home in Muskogee, OK for the past seventeen years.
In his spare time James liked reading, football and watching television. His really enjoyed playing cards and board games with his family.
James departed this life Sunday, May 17, 2020 at his home in Muskogee at the age of 69 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eleanor Anglin; his wife, Freda Fern (Plumlee) Anglin, and three brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Taylor of Muskogee, OK; granddaughter, Cheyenne Chuckluck; grandsons, James Anglin and Aaron Martinez, all of Muskogee, OK; his stepchildren, Darrell Briggs and Douglas Briggs, both of Skiatook, OK and Tracey Langston of Locust Grove, OK; his step-grandchildren; a brother, John Anglin; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Following cremation the family will hold a private committal service in Salina, OK, where James will be laid to rest in Ross-Mayes Cemetery with his wife, Freda Fern (Plumlee) Anglin.
