Memorial services for James W. Jim' Camp, 66 of Mazie, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Church of God in Wagoner with the Reverend Carl Eslinger and the Reverend Bruce Von Wald officiating. Jim was born in Bakers, Oregon on October 2, 1944. At an early age, he and his brother moved to Arkansas and were adopted by Earnest and Erma Camp. Jim grew up and received his training at college in Magnolia, Arkansas. He lived in Texas for several years where he was a member of the Lion's Club and the High Rollers Motorcycle Club. It was in Texas where he met and later married Oneta Faye Ford. In 1989 they moved to Mazie, OK and made their home. Jim always enjoyed working with his hands, for many years as a welder, and most recently ke had begun woodworking. Jim was a truck driver and had driven for Yates Trucking in Wagoner for several years until his retirement. He passed away at home Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Erma Camp; his son-in-law, Allen in 2000 and his daughter, Dessie in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Oneta of the home; his son, Shawn Ford and his wife, Kimberly of Pryor; his daughters, Tammy Lynette Camp of Arkansas and Michelle Nicholas of the home; his father and mother-in-law, Vernon and Oreta Castillo of Wagoner; his brother, Charles Camp and his wife, Mary of Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Oreta Noodle', Meranda, Lydia, Willy , Jennifer, Jessica, Amanda and Alex; a great-grandson, Alex; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fritz Ward, Steve French, James McClain, John Hershburger, George Cooper and Jerry Elkins. Cremation and memorial services are being directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
