James Dow Ferguson was born June 25, 1975 in Tulsa, OK to Patricia Ann (Mitchell) and Roy Clyde Ferguson. He graduated from Catoosa High School. At the time of his death James was making his home in Wagoner, OK and was employed at Lakeside Medical.

In his free time James loved to watch football and NASCAR. He was a longtime huge Dallas Cowboy Football fan.

James departed this life Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 44 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Ferguson Jr. and a nephew, Kyler Ferguson; his paternal grandparents, L.T. and Bonnie Ferguson and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Evelyn Mitchell.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Ann Mitchell of Tulsa, OK; his father and stepmother, Roy and Donna Ferguson of Wagoner, OK; a sister, Angela Hampton of Tulsa, OK; two brothers, Mike Ferguson and wife, Alison of Wagoner, OK and Tommy Ferguson of Wagoner, OK; two step-sisters, Lynette Jasven of Tulsa, OK and Latresha Evans and husband, Wade of Tulsa, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the First Christian Church, 415 East 2 ^nd Street, Wagoner. The Reverend Will Smith will officiate.
