In his younger years, James enjoyed bull riding and team roping. After bull riding, James was a bull fighter for a short time. James learned to be an auctioneer. He would often sit outside with a fire going and listen to music. One thing about James, he loved to have a good time. One of the past-times that he enjoyed was spending time outdoors while riding four-wheelers. He had many good memories of riding with his friends and family.
