In his younger years, James enjoyed bull riding and team roping. After bull riding, James was a bull fighter for a short time. James learned to be an auctioneer. He participated in several charity events to raise money for people in need. James loved to listen to music and dance. He was an excellent dancer. He would often sit outside with a fire going and listen to music. One thing about James, he loved to have a good time. One of the past-times that he enjoyed was spending time outdoors while riding four-wheelers. He had many good memories of riding with his friends and family.
