Janet Ann Hyso was born January 29, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Otis and Helen Campbell and departed this life on Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Broken Arrow, OK at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 24 days. She made her home in Tulsa for many years before moving to the Wagoner area in 1969 to be near Fort Gibson Lake. Janet was a woman with many interests; while in Tulsa, in the 60's and 70's, Janet was the top Women's Pro Bowler. She also loved the water and enjoyed crappie fishing. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and liked Nascar and bingo. Janet's favorite activity, however, was watching her grandchildren in any of their activities. She was a former employee of the City of Wagoner and also worked as a proof operator at Wagoner First Bank & Trust and at the American Bank. Janet is survived by two sons and their wives, Sonny and Peggy Drake of Paris, TX and David and Cindy Drake of Broken Arrow; by a niece whom she helped raise, Jenean Burk of Porter; one brother, Floyd Campbell of Wagoner; six grandchildren, Deanna, Debbie, Dean and his wife, Jenni, Kimberly, Todd and his wife, Kendrae, and Derek Drake; five great grandchildren; other relatives and her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Hyso; her parents; a brother, Otis Campbell and a sister, Helen Greenler.
