Janet Andrea (Beck) Thornburg was born on October 3, 1957, to Bobby Jean Beck and Nola Ann (Smith) Beck, in Muskogee, OK.  She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister who will be missed by all who knew her.

Janet loved the outdoors; there were many outdoor activities that she enjoyed throughout her life.  Fishing was her favorite hobby followed by camping; although she loved the outdoors her family was her greatest love, and spending time with her children and grandchildren was her greatest joy in life.  There will be many memories that her family cherishes of the great camping adventures with Janet.  She loved being on the go, and dining out was something that brought her joy, especially if it was at a Mexican restaurant.  Janet enjoyed life, especially the simple things in life, never taking them for granted.  Janet was a compassionate, and selfless person who loved caring for others when the opportunity arose.

Janet departed this life on Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Wagoner, OK, at the age of 66 years.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Smith; Father, Bobby Beck; brother, Robert Beck; sister, Renee Gardner, and nephew, Buster Deckard.

Cherishing the many memories of Janet ware her son, Johnny Wayne Kinyon of Wagoner, OK; daughter, Jennifer Sheets, of Wagoner, OK; grandchildren, Gus Jay Kinyon, Stephanie SueAnn Hampton, Kyzer Anthony Sheets, Kaizley Sheets; sisters, Debra Wheeler of Wagoner, OK, Sherrill and her husband, Ed Kelly of Panama City Beach, FL; Numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss her greatly.

Janet's life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service at 2 pm Monday, April 1, 2024 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK.
