Jannie Marrie (Taylor) Yeary was born June 9, 1934 in Katy, Kentucky to Vernon and Coreen (Hunt) Taylor, who both precede her in death. Marrie moved to Wagoner at an early age and attended Wagoner Public Schools. She was married to Fred Yeary in Tahlequah on November 26, 1952, and they began a long and happy life together. She was a member of the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Wagoner. Marrie was employed as a receptionist in Dr. Howard Tuttle's medical practice for twenty years before her retirement. She and Fred enjoyed travelling all over the country, especially to attend bluegrass festivals. She like to crochet. She departed this life on June 7, 2012. Survivors include her husband, Fred Yeary of the home; two sisters, Margie Price and Verna Mae Peoples and husband, Chuck, all of Tulsa; a brother-in-law, Johnny Lee Yeary and his wife, Sharon, of Collinsville, sisters-in-law,Lorene Cobb and Bill of Wagoner and Bernice Haskins and Bill of Redding, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held for Marrie from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Mallett Funeral Home. The Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Willie Rice and the Reverend Rick Boyne will officiate. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Donnie Thayer, Rick Collins, Floyd Isley and Jack Freeman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Burl Bell, Ted Bartell and Bob Rice.
