IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jared Taylor
Goodfellow
June 8, 1976 – October 27, 2017
Jared Taylor Goodfellow was born June 8, 1976 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Jared graduated from Wagoner High School in 1995, and shortly after married his high school sweetheart, the former Michelle Dawn McCollum, on July 1, 1995.
Jared was an electrical contractor and worked for Colburn Electric. In his spare time he liked to fish and hunt, but his best times were with family, especially while coaching the teams his son, J.T., was playing on, the Mighty Might Football and Little League Baseball. As time went on he loved watching J.T. play ball and traveling to those events.
Jared departed this life Friday, October 27, 2017 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, having fought valiantly to overcome illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Goodfellow.
His loving family will miss him dearly and will always hold him dear in their hearts. They include his wife, Michelle, and two sons, J.T. Goodfellow and Braden Calico, all of Broken Arrow; his mother and step-father, Delores June (Colburn) and Ron Gray of Wagoner; a brother and sister-in-law, Lance and Amanda Goodfellow of Wagoner; three step-sisters and their spouses, Tonya and Martin May of Broken Arrow, Merita and Robert Gantt of Coweta and Vickie Gray of Wagoner; a step-brother and his wife, Stephen and Tina Gray of Broken Arrow; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and his friends.
The family and friends will gather for a Visitation Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner.
The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Wednesday morning at First Assembly of God in Wagoner. The Reverend Tim Boyett will officiate.
Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Mike Calico, James Beasley, Kurt Appleton, Ed Wiley, Bart Colburn and Jason Bennett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brannon McCollum, Jeff Calico, Austin Reich, Brian Kuester, Scott Lewis, John Short and Fred Probst.
