Jeramy Edward Austin was born June 5, 1980 in Fontana, San Bernardino County, California to Vernon Edward Austin and Brenda Yvonne (Henson) Austin Merman. He grew up in California and graduated from Yucca Valley High School in 1999.

As a young man Jeramy moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he made his home for eighteen years before recently moving to Wagoner, Oklahoma.

Before his illness limited Jeramy's activity he worked as a store manager at Speedy Mart and as a merchandiser for Bonanza Beverage/Miller Brewing Co.

Jeramy departed this life Monday morning, March 22, 2021 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK at the age of 40 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Austin; his grandparents, Don and Jane Henson and a cousin, Andrew Henson.

Left to cherish his memory are four children, Alexa, Sierra, Connor and Kaitlyn Austin; his mother and stepfather, Brenda Yvonne (Henson) and Mark Merman; a sister, Nichole Weaver; brother, Mark E. Merman; two aunts and their families, Penny and Lyle Laverty and Yvette Henson; other extended family and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
