Graveside services for Jessie Alvira Knowlton, 88, of Adkins, Texas, will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014. The Reverend Willie Rice will officiate. A visitation and gathering of friends and family will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. Mrs. Knowlton was born in Cherokee County, Oklahoma on June 26, 1926 and passed away November 5, 2014 at her residence in Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Knowlton; her parents, Ted and Vennie Young; brothers Paul Young and J.C. Young; and grandson Lance Cantrell. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gerald Cantrell and wife Janell of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Ray Cantrell and wife Margaret of Hulbert, OK and Dale Knowlton and wife Brenda of Adkins, Texas; grandchildren Chris Cantrell, Brad Cantrell, Keith Cantrell, Justin Knowlton and Heather Knowlton; great-grandchildren, Maria Cantrell, Anthony Cantrell, Finn Cantrell and Devon Cantrell; sister Darlene Pate and brothers Tommy Young, Kenneth Young and Gary Young; numerous nieces and nephews in addition to beloved friends.
