Jimmy Dewayne "Wayne" Ashlock was born January 20, 1957 in Tulsa, OK to C.J. "Marvin" Ashlock and Betty (Atkins) White. Wayne married the former Kathy Leigh Parker on March 18, 1976. They made their home in Skiatook, Oklahoma.

Wayne's occupation was a metal worker in a sheet metal shop. He enjoyed fishing as a hobby, but truly loved spending time with his son and grandchildren.

Wayne departed this life Tuesday evening, November 17, 2020 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK at the age of 63 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Ashlock; mother, Betty White and a brother, Terry Ashlock.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Ashlock of the home; a son, Michael Ashlock; daughter, Maggie Cotner and her husband, Frank; four grandchildren, Frank Cotner Jr., Daniel Ashlock, Bianca Entz and Kristina Cotner; great-grandchildren, Chevy Cotner, Zoey Ashlock and soon to be born, Anthony Entz; a brother, James Ashlock; sister, Sally Hudspeth; mother-in-law, Geneva Parker; extended family and friends.

Viewing will be Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 1-5 pm at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK.

The Celebration of Life will be Monday, November 23 at 10 am at the New Heights Church, 106 North Main Street, Owasso, OK. Officiating will be Pastor John David Meissner.

Interment will be at 1 pm Monday at Double Springs Cemetery near Hulbert, OK. Pallbearers will be Michael Ashlock, Daniel Ashlock, James Parker, Clay Morgan, Billy Dobbs and Billy Basore.

Masks are required for attendance.
