Obituary

Jimmy Dale Garrison was born October 25, 1945 in Hulbert, OK to Lucille (Burk) and Melvin Charles Garrison. He was a 1963 Wagoner High School graduate. Before retirement Jimmy worked as a machinist in the Heat Exchange Industry. He made his home in Northeastern Oklahoma all of his life.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Glenda and Jimmy were members of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church in Mazie, OK.

Jimmy's family was the center of his life. His favorite times were family cookouts. He loved watching the grandchildren play sports and teasing his granddaughters about their stylish, holey jeans, asking if they didn't have money to afford new jeans. The kids gave it back to Jimmy with the nickname, "Grandpa Chicken Butt" and telling him not to be a "Crabby Patty" while in the hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and Melvin Garrison; two brothers, Billy Garrison and Robert Garrison; a sister, Ivy Canoe; stepdaughter, Terri Smith; sons, Tony Garrison and Kenny Garrison; daughters-in-law, Terri Garrison and Heather Garrison; grandson, Aaron Thomas and granddaughter, Tracy Berry.
