Barbara Joan Morgan was born October 14, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wanda Latrell (Strickland) and Raymond Paul Little. She married Gary "Butch" Morgan on August 12, 1978, and they started out sharing a life together that lasted forty-four years.

Joan was previously a manager of Universal Video. She loved doing crafts, especially making jewelry. Her favorite baseball team was the Boston Red Sox. Joan had a green thumb and loved caring for her plants, in particular her African violets. She liked to fish as well. But, Joan's favorite thing was spending time with her family, and most specially her grandchildren.

Joan departed this life Sunday morning, October 2, 2022 at the age of 69 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Wanda Little; a sister, Nina Potter and a niece, Alison Potter.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gary "Butch" Morgan of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Tyanna and Jamie Trippany of Wagoner, Oklahoma; grandson, Braeden Trippany; granddaughter, Norah Trippany; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.

Viewing will be Friday beginning at 11 a.m. The Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday.

A funeral service to celebrate a life well lived will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner, Oklahoma. The Reverend Steve Harshaw will officiate.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Hulbert Community (I.O.O.F.) Cemetery in Hulbert, Oklahoma.
