Joanne C. Roberson (aka "Baby Girl") was born August 14, 1946 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Joanne passed from life on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the age of 76. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and attended Lincoln High School before endeavoring in her true calling to become a wonderful Wife and devoted Mother. Joanne married Alonzo Roberson, Sr. on May 10, 1966 and to this union were eight (8) children. She took her care-giving skills to Deep Fork Community Center where she made many friends and became a well-loved member of that community.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Lula Brady; her father, William Charles Conway; her sister Charlesetta Williams; and her beautiful daughter, Paulette Bennett.
She is survived by her husband, Alonzo Roberson Sr. of the home; her son, Darrell Roberson (Leslie), Coweta, OK; her daughter, LaTonia Roberson, Wagoner, OK; her son, Alonzo Roberson, Jr. (Gidget), Coweta, OK; her daughter, Kelly Reed (Clem), Tulsa, OK; her son, Kendall Roberson, Tulsa, OK; her daughter, Antoinette Roberson (Tony), Foil, OK; her daughter, Crystal Roberson, Wagoner, OK; her bonus-daughter, Martha Sloan; loving sister, Pamela Ray, Wagoner, OK; fifteen (15) grand-children; and four (4) great-grandsons; a special cousin (sister), Charlotte Miller; and her very special friends Hattie Mae Hankins and Zettie Jones.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Earl Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Mallet Funeral Home and Crematory.
Momma you are a great inspiration to others as you shared your life so willingly with others, the joy you brought us will never end and one day we will be together again! Though we miss you we know You are with Jesus and those who have gone on before.
