IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joe Lee
Mcnack, Sr
August 14, 1953 – July 4, 2021
Joe Lee McNack Sr. was born on August 14, 1953 to William Gene McNack Sr. and Edna Earline Washington in Wagoner, OK. Joe was the 2 nd eldest of six children. He joined church at an early age, was baptized at Union Baptist, and continued to have a relationship with the Lord. He showed his love and talent for the game of basketball while attending Wagoner Public Schools and playing under the leadership of Bill Benham and Roger Hayes. He met and married Terri Branstetter and to this union four children were born. He then joined the National Guard and then transitioned to masonry which was his passion.
Joe loved to travel and never met a stranger. He was always ready to help anyone in need, and his hobby was playing the slots at the casino. It made him happy. When Joe's health began to fail, his sister, Sonya, answered his need and cared for him until his transition from this life to glory on July 4, 2021.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, William Gene McNack Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Joey, Brandon and Christopher McNack all of Tulsa, Marquetta (Jarvis) McNack of Tulsa, Octavius Roberson of Broken Arrow and Skyler Stafford of Wagoner; his mother, Mrs. Edna McNack of Wagoner; two brothers, William (Linda) McNack Jr. and Stanley McNack both of Wagoner; three sisters, Sherry Boyd of Wagoner, Tammy (Johnny) Ray of Chouteau, and Sonya McNack of the home; 24 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially his friends, Wendell Carter and Dave Schmidt, who are like family.
The Celebration of Life service honoring Joe Lee McNack Sr. will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Viewing will take place at Mallett Funeral Home on Friday, July 9th from 2 to 7 p.m.
