John Carrigan Gotcher was born March 1, 1932 in Tulsa, OK to William Emery and Ester (Carrigan) Gotcher. Before retirement John was a courier supervisor for the Tulsa World newspaper. In his spare time John enjoyed fishing and liked to mow the lawn.

John was devoted to his wife, Betty, whom he married on July 15, 1974. Betty was his world. He was a very kind, caring man who would be the first to reach out and offer help. He also had an ornery streak and liked to aggravate when the opportunity arose.

John departed this life July 5, 2023 at his home in Wagoner, OK at the age of 91 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ester Gotcher; his wife, Betty Gotcher, and a daughter, Lynn Reynolds.

Survivors include his best friends and caregiver, Mark and Marla Dowling and Auston Hatton and his grandchildren, Lance and Cory Reynolds.
