Jordan Robert Leland was born January 9, 1987 in Tulsa, OK to Lorry Lin (Vermeulen) and Robert Gregory Leland. After graduating from Okay High School Jordan studied printing at the Muskogee Vocational School. He was a master engraver and employed at Fine Arts Engraving in Tulsa. Jordan died Friday, November 6, 2009 as the result of an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. Carson Leland; his grandparents, Vivian Leland and John Vermeulen and his uncle Bunny Vermeulen. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Robert and Kathryn Leland of Wagoner; his mother, Lorry Leland of Wagoner; two brothers, Justin Leland of Springdale, AR and Jesse Leland of Wagoner; uncles and aunts, Terry and Robin Leland of Florida, Laurel Leland of Pennsylvania, Adrian and Lana VanLeeuwen and John Vermeulen, all of Bloomington, IN; a host of cousins; other relatives and his friends. A memorial service was held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 11 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wagoner. The Reverend John Blue officiated. Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Wagoner.
