Joyce Kay (Posey) Reeves was born May 30, 1942 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Bill Posey and Frances Yvonne (Willis) Posey. She married the love of her life, Randall Dwayne Reeves, on December 23, 1961. They were married for fifty-seven years before his passing in 2019. Joyce made her home in Coweta, OK for the past forty-six years.

Joyce had a number of interests. She loved to embroider, making pillow cases, blankets and tea towels for her family to treasure. Another hobby she enjoyed was reading. Joyce was best known for her baking talents. Her family will always remember fondly how she made the most amazing pies. She was employed at The Tree restaurant where she was well known for her Mississippi mud cake. For ten years she worked in the Haskell Middle School cafeteria in the burger, fry and shake line.

Joyce was a loving and caring mother who always made everyone feel welcome. Many of Yolanda's friends called her Mom.

Joyce departed this life on Friday, January 19, 2024 in Coweta, OK at the age of 81 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Randall Reeves, her parents, Bill and Frances Posey, and a brother, Tom Posey.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Yolanda Kaye (Reeves) and Mark Harmon of Coweta, OK; her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan Dwayne and Daone Reeves of Broken Arrow, OK; stepson, Shawn Reeves of Moore, OK; grandchildren and spouses, Alyssa and Kenneth Farmer, Tyler and Heather Harmon and Katelyn Reeves; great-grandchildren, Averi Farmer, Maisie Farmer, Bennie Harmon, and Hadleigh Harmon; a sister, Roxie Posey; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

The family will greet friends and family, at a visitation on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 5 - 7 P.M., in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.

A Celebration of Life, honoring the Life of Joyce Reeves will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.  Interment will follow, where Joyce will be laid to rest by her loving husband, Randall Reeves, at Vernon Cemetery, in Coweta, Oklahoma. Brother Tommy Tucker will Officiate.
