Obituary

Judith Estelle (Nicely) Talbot, better known as Judy, was born on October 24, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas, to Harry and Hazel Nicely.  She graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1958.  After graduating, Judy went to work at Jostens, a yearbook company in Topeka, KS.  Judy married Richard Talbot, and they raised two children together, Ricky and Ronnie.  During her lifetime, Judy has worked at Bonnie's Flowers, Wagoner Public School as a cafeteria manager, and The Showboat Branson Belle as a galley crew member.

Judy is best remembered as a wonderful grandmother.  Her pride and joy were her grandkids.  When she wasn't spending time with the grandkids, you could find her working in the garden.  Judy had a special skill in keeping a beautiful garden and tending to her birds, especially hummingbirds and robins.  When Judy wasn't gardening, you could find her enjoying a quiet afternoon watching golf or OU football.

Judy departed this life on Monday, October 27, 2025, at her sister, Linda's, home in Forsyth, Missouri, at the age of 85.  She was surrounded by family.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Hazel Nicely; her son, Richard Talbot Jr; as well as her four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her sister, Linda Barraclough of Forsyth, MO; son, Ronnie Talbot of Wagoner, OK; her daughter-in-law, Karen Talbot of Wagoner, OK; three granddaughters and their spouses, MaryKaye and Bradlee Boren of Wagoner, OK, Cheryl and Corey Delk of Skiatook, OK, and Elizabeth Talbot of Wagoner, OK; great-grandchildren, Misty Boren, Johnny Boren, Jaylee Delk, Carter Delk, Marley Bias, Lily Bias, and Riley Bias; and other extended family, all whom will miss her greatly.
