Obituary

Judith Ann (Hornbuckle) Skeen was born March 30, 1943 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Dessie Mae (Ridenhour) and Ambus Hornbuckle. She passed in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 29, 2024.

Judi grew up in Wagoner and graduated from Wagoner High School in 1961. That is where she met and married her husband, Ronald W. Skeen, on April 14, 1961. That marriage was short lived, but they later found each other and were once again married on August 13, 1989. The two had a love of a lifetime.

Judi is survived by her husband, Ron, of the home in Wagoner, OK; son, William Bradford and wife, Debra of Van Alstyne, TX; daughter, Jill Battaglia and husband, Brian of Bella Vista, AR; daughter, Amy Skeen McInroy and husband, Mike of Broken Arrow, OK; son, Ron Skeen and wife, Sandy of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Terry Hornbuckle and wife, Sharon of Wagoner, OK; grandchildren, CW, Aaron and wife, Kate, Spencer and wife, Kourtney, Lauren and husband, Conner, Alex, Tyler, Bailey, Kylea, Brayden, Harley, Katelyn, Jordan and husband, Mikel, Kenny, Tyler Joe, and Zack and wife, Allie; great grandchildren, Olivia, Addy, Jackie, and Stetson; two nephews, Greg Hornbuckle and wife, Regan, and Sherrod Hornbuckle; other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to  Porta Caeli House  at Catholic Charities, 2440 N. Harvard Ave., Tulsa, OK 74115.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Judi's life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Abundant Grace (former Methodist Church) in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
