Obituary

Funeral services for Julie Anne (Rice) Garrison, 34, of Wagoner will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Wagoner with the Reverend Willie Rice officiating. A visitation is planned for Sunday, Feb. 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Mallett Funeral Home. Julie was born July 26, 1974 in Muskogee, OK to her parents, Wanda (Ross) Willhite and Charles E. Rice. She graduated from Wagoner High School in 1992 and went on to become a registered nurse. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Wagoner. Julie later earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2005 and was employed as Director of Nursing at the Inola Healthcare Center. She passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at her home in Wagoner. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry Richard Ross and John and Maggie Rice. Julie is survived by her children, Leah, Landon and Logan Garrison of Kansas; her parents, Wanda Willhite and her husband, Dee and Charles E. Rice and his wife, Aline, all of Wagoner; her brother, Charlie Rice and his wife, Karla of Jenks, Oklahoma; her grandmother, Ruth Ross of Wagoner; a niece, Miranda Rice; two nephews, Cameron and Christian Rice; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers will be Jay D. Ross Jr., DVM, Jeremy M. Ross, M.D., Jeffrey A Ross, O.D., Joey Ross, Nic Ross and Staff Sergeant, David L. Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Young, Brett Young, Chris Charboneau and Mark Perreault. Funeral arrangements and interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
