Donna June Bolton, age 84, of Wagoner, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025. Born on September 23, 1941, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, June was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and a very cherished friend, remembered for her infectious laugh, uplifting spirit, and the comfort of her home-cooked meals- especially when someone needed a helping hand. Her cookies and pies are legendary! We should all know, we have calorie laden hips to prove this!

June was always at the heart of any gathering, joyfully involved in activities with her dear friends. She was an enthusiastic bridge player, never missing a chance for a good game filled with laughter and camaraderie. Her involvement in the P.E.O. Sisterhood was especially dear to her-she deeply valued the bonds formed with the remarkable women in the group and the shared mission of education and friendship.

June worked as a Mortgage Underwriter for years and retired from M.S.N. in 2001. She couldn't stay retired-she went back to work, showing off her cooking skills every chance she had!

She is survived by her sister Cecilia and brother-in-law Ron Nicholas of Wagoner, along with her grandsons Brandon Lombardi and Austin Bolton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Earl Herron, her loving daughter Katherine Lynn Miller, and her son Robert Keith Bolton-each held close in memory.

Her unwavering generosity, resilient heart, and joyful presence will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A memorial service for June will be forthcoming at a future date and time. No funeral service is planned.
