June (Turley) Ensminger was born October 9, 1934 in Wagoner County, Oklahoma, to Fred W. and Gladys May (Tacker) Turley. She grew up in Porter until moving with her family to Wagoner her senior year in high school. After graduating from Wagoner High School June married Jack Ensminger, and they began a long and happy life together. They made their home in Tulsa for a time, but soon settled in Broken Arrow, where they have lived since. June was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her nurturing spirit and loving ways were expressed in her joy in being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandson. She worked for many years for Ross Drug in Broken Arrow before retirement. June departed this life on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Allen Turley. Survivors include her husband, Jack Ensminger Sr. of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Jack Jr. "Butch" and Marsha Ensminger of Collinsville, OK; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Gail and Mike Keith and Amy Patricia and Jermey Bell, all of Broken Arrow, OK; June's grandchildren, Tyler Keith and wife, Melle of Edmond, Matt Keith of Oklahoma City, Cale Ensminger, Sam Cook, Tryston Bell and Roman Bell, all of Broken Arrow; one great-grandson, Coen Keith of Edmond; two brothers and sisters-in-law, J.W. and Peggy Turley of Broken Arrow and Paul and Sharon Turley of Muskogee; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Evelyn Gilmore of Coweta, Sue and Gary Cooper of Wagoner and Louise and Mike Manley of Omaha, Nebraska; many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.
