Katherine Marie Chambers, former resident of Wagoner, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 in the Shattuck Nursing Center in Shattuck, Oklahoma.

She was born October 29, 1934 in Vian, Oklahoma to Bert and Della (Anderson) Compton.

Katherine married Kenneth Lee Chambers November 15, 1950 in Van Buren, Arkansas who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rocky Chambers; her brothers, Charles Compton and Gene Compton; and her sister, Augusta Damron.

Katherine is survived by her children, Stoney Chambers and wife, Ronda, of Houston, Texas and Sandy Johnson and husband, Ray, of Shattuck, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Marci Boyett, Marisa Stahl, Nathan Chambers, Kirsten Chambers, Rachel Altamirano and Sarah Johnson; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Compton and wife, Loretta and Bert Compton; sisters, Betty Rogers and husband, Jimmy and Ethel Pickering and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
