Katherine Sue Moreland was born on October 24, 1944 in Broken, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dallas and Bertie Hughes and was the youngest of 6 children. She passed away on October 11, 2014. Sue was a very outgoing person who loved to be outdoors with her family, tagging along on hunting and fishing trips or out shopping with her beloved daughters and grandchildren. She loved to be outside working on the yard or gardening and cooking meals for her family in her free time. She worked at Unarco Industries as a purchasing agent for many years until her retirement. Sue and Tex, her loving husband of 52 years, enjoyed spending their free time with their loving family on vacations and were always known for slipping away for their own little couples retreat here and there. Sue was preceded in death by: her parents, Dallas and Bertie Hughes, her brother, Bill Hughes, and her sister, Charlotte Brenner. Sue is survived by: her husband, Jim (Tex) Moreland; daughter, Kim and husband, Mark McCollough; daughter, Terry and husband, Steven McKinney; son, Jimmy and wife, Anita Moreland; grandchildren: Kacey and Carlie Moreland, Amber and Chris Daniels, Alisha McCollough, Taylor Moreland, Madison McKinney and Jeremy Hemingway; great-grandchildren: C.J., Morgan and Wyatt Daniels; sister, Betty and husband, Tom Honea; and brother, Richard Hughes. Services will be held at Mallett Funeral Home, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 2 p.m.
