Kathryn Dee (Henderson) Horn was born May 23, 1931 in Wagoner, Oklahoma, one of five children born to William Henderson Sr. and Lillian (Gott) Henderson. After graduating from high school Kathryn attended beauty school and became a hairstylist. She owned and operated her own shop for many years.

She lived in Washington State for twenty-five years and then moved to Mutual, Oklahoma with her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Audra and Chuck McAnarney. She made her home with them for twenty-five years. After moving to Mutual, Kathryn and Audra spent many hours together growing vegetables, canning, planting an orchard, and flower gardening, and most of all, building cherished memories.

Kathryn departed this life early Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at their home in Mutual. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Louie Buford, in 1973; her second husband, Robert Horn, in 1998; her daughter, Rhonda Buford Louis, in 2001; a brother, William "Bill" Henderson in 2012; a sister, Cherry Heaton, in 2015 and a granddaughter, Vicki Faulconer.

She is survived by two sons, Phil Buford and wife, Rissa, of Hulbert, Oklahoma and Gary Buford of Muskogee, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, including Audra McAnarney and her husband, Chuck; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Omer and Myrna Henderson of Rose, Oklahoma and Jack and Lorene Henderson of Coweta, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday in Ray Cemetery in Sequoyah State Park.
