Obituary

Kathy Lynne Miller was born September 3rd 1958 in Redondo Beach California to Raphael Harrington Moton and Dorothy Jean Gandee. She was the 4th of their five children, who also included Tommy, Dawn, Cherokee and then Bradley

Kathy departed this life on January 10, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother Tommy, sister, Dawn and son-in-law Robert Estep

Left behind are her husband Tony Freeman, daughter Amie Miller and  grandson, Allen Skipworth, all of the home; a son, Adam Mcewan; granddaughters, Haylee, Allison and Sarah; two great granddaughters, Teagan Elizabeth and Everly Brooke; sister, Cherokee Nichols; brother, Bradley Moton; her niece, Shannah Breazeale and several other nieces and nephews.

Kathy and Tony began their life together in 2009 in Wagoner, Oklahoma and were married in 2014. They spent 14 years building a life together - the very best years of her life. She loved Tony very much. She couldn't have asked for a better husband or person to spend her life with.

She could make a preacher want to cuss, and would drive her family nuts, cause she was stubborn as a mule. But, we wouldn't have changed her for the world. She was an amazingly strong woman and loved her family unconditionally to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family, especially on the holidays. The 4th of July was her favorite. Sometimes she was more excited about the fireworks than the children.

She enjoyed having Twilight marathons and going shopping and having dinner nights with Tony at Red Lobster, girls nights with her sister and daughter and niece, going to Allen's games and getting pedicures with Amie. She was very proud of Teagan and Everly, her great-granddaughters, and their mommas, Haylee and Allison. She just thought they were the best little mommas ever!  She was an amazing mother, wife, grandma, sister and all around person. Our lives will forever have a void.

Kathy's family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at a memorial service 2 pm Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Gate Church, 312 North Jefferson Avenue, Wagoner, Oklahoma.
