Kenneth Roy Gillin Jr. was born on April 2, 1960, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Kenneth Roy Gillin Sr. and Patricia Ann (Fielder) Fielden. Kenneth married the love of his life, Janet Lorraine Holman on September 16, 2010. They were happily married for 14 years.
Kenneth had a profound affinity for the outdoors. He was particularly passionate about hunting, with a notable preference for deer hunting. He also enjoyed fishing and tending to his vegetable garden. Above all, he valued the time spent with his family.
Kenneth departed this life on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Wagoner Community Hospital, at the age of 64 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Brindon Gillin; mother, Pat Fielden; and sister, Kristi Gillin.
Cherishing the many memories of Kenneth's life include his wife, Janet Holman-Gillin of the home; children, Briar Wayland Gillin and his companion, Chesney of Wagoner, OK; step-children, Nicholas Hunter Holman and his wife, Kelsey of Colorado Springs, CO, Shane Dakota Holman and his wife, Kyra of Eustis, VA, Joshua Fischer and his wife, Maddie of Colorado Springs, CO, Shannon Long and her husband, Denver of Sperry, OK, and Brittany Powell and her husband, Shawn of Henryetta, OK; grandchildren, David Holman, Saige Gillin, Carson Holman, Vesper Wilson, Slayder Wilson, Piper Powell, Remi Long, Aiden Long, Meara Fischer, and Gus Fischer; parents, Kenneth and Joyce Gillin of Porter, OK; brother, Jeff Gillin of Porter, OK; stepsisters, Kathy Green and her husband, Kevin, Liz Moss; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all who will miss him deeply.
A memorial service honoring Kenneth Gillin Jr. will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Okay Christian Fellowship Church, Okay, OK. Officiating will be Pastor Dallas Capps.
