Kenneth Marshall was born December 6, 1953 to Jay Bee and Ruby Marshall. He grew up in Choska Bottom. Kenneth was a loving child that loved the outdoors. Because of interest in raising animals he joined 4 -H club which later inspired his girls to become FFA members. He was always a farmer at heart. He spent hours on the tractor working the land and checking on his cows. He attended Porter Elementary, Porter High School, Muskogee Vo-Tech, Eastern Oklahoma State College and Northeastern State University. He used his talents to build and construct new buildings as a construction supervisor. He met and married Jennifer Oden. They celebrated 23 years of marriage on September 1st. Kenneth and Jennifer built a happy home in Porter, where they brought forth a nestle of beautiful children. To this union was born Kalynn Danae Marshall, Mariah Dail Marshall, Alyssa Jean Marshall. They became foster parents and later adopted Arianna Nicole Marshall, Isaiah Wayne Marshall , "Num Num" Landon Sav'ion Marshall, Jozzlin Gail Sanders and Kaden Samuel Glaves. He was a good father and a caring husband. He was devoted to his family.
He was a dedicated member of Living Stone Teaching Church until he was called home. He was known for his quiet demeanor and warm smile. Always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need.
In his passing he leaves to mourn his loving wife Jennifer, 7 children Kalynn, Mariah, Alyssa, Arianna, Isaiah, Landon, and Kaden, sisters; La Dawn of Broken Arrow, Nana of Porter, Ruth Ann of Red Bird, brothers; Jimmy Dale of Porter, Gary of Catoosa, Michael of Broken Arrow, Robert of Kansas City, niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister; Sandra Bowens, his parents Jay Bee and Ruby Marshall and his closest and dearest friend Ed Dilbeck..
He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 19 at Mallett Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.
The Funeral Service celebrating his life will be held at Living Stone Teaching Church on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
